-
Take meaningful action on healthcare, clean water, education and other critical needs through strategic planning and direct local action.
-
Grow a network of changemakers — We’re building a community of people who show up for each other and for justice—come be a part of it.

Tell Your Members of Congress:
Halt the ICE Terror Machine

On January 24, federal forces with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) killed Alex Pretti in Minneapolis. This was just over two weeks after the killing of Renee Good.
These killings are a direct result of unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities.
Congress is currently negotiating funding for DHS, which includes ICE and Border Patrol. We are demanding our Members of Congress draft a new bill that, at minimum:
-
Ensures there is not one penny more for ICE or CBP
-
Pulls ICE and Border Patrol out of Minneapolis and the rest of our communities
-
Prevents ICE or Border Patrol enforcement at designated ‘sensitive locations’ such as houses of worship, day cares, and hospitals
-
Restricts ICE and Border Patrol’s ability to target people based on their race, language or accent, place of employment, or location at the time of the apprehension
-
Ends the administration’s unlawful practice of warrantless home entry and arrests
Use this link to instantly contact your Members of Congress with a clear message: Protect our communities by reining in ICE NOW.

Tell Your North Carolina Legislators to support the National Popular Vote bill

The National Popular Vote bill would guarantee the Presidency to the candidate who receives the most popular votes in all 50 states and the District of Columbia . It has been enacted into law by 17 states and DC with 209 electoral votes. It needs an additional 61 electoral votes to go into effect.

Boycott movement against ChatGPT grows amid OpenAI's Pentagon deal

The organization called QuitGPT has driven a major boycott of ChatGPT, with over 4 million users potentially participating. This occurred when the U.S. Department of Defense made a deal with OpenAI, owner of ChatGPT almost immediately after the Pentagon's existing contractor, Anthropic, was dropped.

Anthropic had sought legal guarantees with the government that its technology would not be used for the mass surveillance of Americans or for fully autonomous weapons — systems capable of killing without human oversight. The Trump administration refused to agree to those specific terms.

Tell Congress: Stop Trump's War with Iran

Use this link to automatically send a message to your Congressional Representatives:
Trump's unauthorized war in Iran has already taken the lives of US servicemembers and at least 1,000 Iranian civilians. It has devolved into a larger regional conflict, with missile and drone strikes, military operations, and retaliatory attacks now wounding and killing civilians in countries across the Middle East.
The American public is firmly against this conflict. None of us want another forever war. Congress must act. We’re calling on Members of Congress to respond to this crisis by:
-
Conducting immediate oversight
-
Continuing to force votes on War Powers Resolutions
-
Restricting or cutting off funding for unauthorized hostilities, which includes opposing any supplemental packages that would fund the war
-
Holding the Trump administration accountable and putting an immediate stop to this war.
-
Publicly opposing the war
Republicans need to understand that we will not accept their rubber stamping endless wars, and any Democrats who are falling short need to understand that we will hold them accountable.
